American Institute of Afghanistan Studies
The American Institute of Afghanistan Studies, founded in 2003, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the advanced study of Afghanistan in the United States of America. The institute is housed at Boston University in Massachusetts. The Institute is affiliated with the Council of American Overseas Research Centers. Since its founding many academic institutions from across the United States have become affiliated with the Institute.

American Institute of Bangladesh Studies
The American Institute of Bangladesh Studies is a consortium of U.S. universities and colleges involved in research on Bangladesh. Our mission is to improve the scholarly understanding of Bangladesh culture and society in the United States and to promote educational exchange between the U.S. and Bangladesh. By sending undergraduate and graduate students as well as senior scholars to Bangladesh, we also promote a better understanding of America in Bangladesh.

American Institute of Indian Studies
The American Institute of Indian Studies Advanced Language Programs are dedicated to serving the needs of language learners from American Universities. The programs, located in India, have as their goal to provide a teaching and learning environment of professionalism, excellence and integrity and that operates in a joyful and hospitable manner. While the teachers offer collective and individualized help in accelerating the communicative competence of their students, each program strives for a collaborative environment in which learners take charge of their own learning by keeping track of their language development and language learning needs.

Association for Nepal and Himalayan Studies
The Association for Nepal and Himalayan Studies (ANHS), formerly the Nepal Studies Association (NSA) joins people with wide-ranging interests in the Himalayan region, adjacent highland areas and the Tarai. Our goal is to raise the profile of the world's highest region, increasing awareness of the unequaled diversity of human and natural worlds within the Himalaya-Hindukush. ANHS members include scholars from various academic disciplines, students, resource and development professionals, and a variety of other Himalayan residents and enthusiasts.

American Institute of Pakistan Studies
The American Institute of Pakistan Studies (AIPS), established in 1973, is a non-profit, tax-exempt, non-partisan educational organization and a member of the Council of American Overseas Research Centers. Its mission is to encourage and support research on issues relevant to Pakistan and the promotion of scholarly exchange between the United States and Pakistan. To fulfill this mission, AIPS provides research fellowships to American researchers, administers lectureships, and sponsors academic conferences.

American Institute for Sri Lankan Studies
The American Institute for Sri Lankan Studies (AISLS) was established in 1995 to foster excellence in American research and teaching on Sri Lanka, and to promote the exchange of scholars and scholarly information between the United States and Sri Lanka. The Institute serves as the professional association for US-based scholars and other professionals who are interested in Sri Lanka. There are about 100 individual members, who are drawn primarily from social sciences and humanities disciplines, including anthropology, development studies, education, history, geography, linguistics, literature and drama, performance studies and ethnomusicology, political science, psychology, religious studies, sociology, and women's studies.
